I contacted A-1 Roofing in Dec of 2021 to get an estimate. I had the estimate within 24 hours. I obtained two additional quotes, but decided to use A-1. As soon as I was ready to have it done, they jumped on it! They showed up on time, completed everything quickly, and cleaned up so well that you couldn’t tell they were even here. The communication from estimate to completion was professional and easy! I would highly recommend this company for roof installation and I look forward to having additional projects done with them!

Donnie Long, the owner, is fair, professional, personable, and honest. If you need any work done please call him. He called us back on a Sunday and we set up a time for him to do the work the next day. That is dedication and good customer service. He also cleaned our gutters while he was on the roof at no charge just because they needed it. Good and reputable guys are hard to find.

A1 replaced our roof after some hurricane damage to it. Very prompt, professional and courteous service at a fair price. If you need some roofing repairs done or new one installed or anything else for that matter don't hesitate to give them a call.

Donnie Long and A1 Roofing finished siding on my home in Varnamtown. They also built a small screened in porch to my house. Mr. Long was very professional in every interaction we had about the work he did for me. He was prompt, courteous, and proud of the work he completed. As you can see from the pictures, he and his crew did a fantastic job on my new screened in porch! Donnie installed a roof top solar attic fan for at Holden beach. Amazing job, got it done quickly and in a time frame between renters. Very affordable price. So satisfied with his help. Also discovered missing shingles and a rotten piece plywood and also did that repair at same time! It was a corner spot that we had trouble with before( done by different roofer). UPDATE to my original review. We had Donnie and his team do a second job for us and it was as fantastic as the first time around. I called for a second opinion on my mother's roof. He was very accommodating with reviewing the installation a previous roofer had done. Some companies may not always do this, but he came out with no problem. He was very prompt. Very professional. Took time to explain my concerns regarding the roof. I highly recommend him. We called A1 Roofing to have extra vents put in the roof and a roof leak repair. Donnie answered right away and came over and completed the work the very same day! Our experience in the past couple years is that you do good with most places to get a return call, and then they may or may not show up! It was so refreshing not to have to wait weeks or months to get something done.

A1 was courteous, efficient and communicated well. They did minor repair on my roof and quoted me for a full job at a later date which I plan to use them for and I would recommend them to a friend. When the job was done my gutters were clean and my driveway and walkway blown off as well. They accepted my credit card with a small fee which is very reasonable, we do this at my place of employment as well. 5 stars!
